IRATA Training – Switzerland

Last week I was in Switzerland running an IRATA course for Altimum S.A. in Palezieux. The beauty of running IRATA courses in countries where it is still becoming established is the range of experience you can get on a Level 1 course – out of 7 candidates, 2 had been working in rope access for over 15 years, another had worked in rope access and related industries since the late ’80s, another was an ex-activist for a well known environmental campaign group and so on… (although experience also brings deeply engrained bad habits with it too!).

All 7 passed their IRATA Level 1 assessment with flying colours – great to catch up with Mike Benton from Height Works who came out to act as the independant assessor.
